Glendora Mountain Road Trail

Glendale Cycles and friends latest group bike ride was at the Glendora Mountain Road Trail (east). It was a fun, action-packed day of downhill mountain biking.

The weather was great and Crazy Bear Bikes provided the shuttles. We paid 15 bucks for two shuttle runs up the mountain to the trail head and it was well worth it.

We started at 8:00 am and finished the day of riding by 11:30 am, which after, went out for burgers and refreshments.

Our friends (Greg, Jonar, Mike, and Brent) of Glendale Cycles turned us on to this trail as we had never ridden it before. Well, we are thankful to them for introducing us to this sweet trail which was a blast to rail down. The trail has a fast and flowy feel to it and most of it is single track with the last part of it rolling through a cool rock garden which was very fun and technical to ride.

Everyone had a great time and there were no crashes or injuries which is always a good thing!

GMR has many other trail offerings which include the Mystique trail and the GMR (west) trail which we plan on exploring the next time we are out there. GMR (west), we hear, is more technical and gnarly and is filled with more jumps which just makes us want to hurry back and experience.

Every time we do a group ride , we get more and more riders involved. From experienced riders to people just getting into the sport of Mountain Biking. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or just a beginner, you will not feel out of place.

Join us on our next group ride. Trust us, you will have fun.
